Yuvraj Singh recalls Sachin Tendulkar’s last day in international cricket — Know what he has to say

NEW DELHI: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Tuesday (Nov 17) recalled Sachin Tendulkar’s final day in worldwide cricket and mentioned the legendary batsman won’t ever retire from his coronary heart.

On November 16, 2013, Tendulkar, popularly often called the ‘Master Blaster’, bid adieu to worldwide cricket. His profession spanned over twenty years. He retired from all types of cricket after his 200th Test match in opposition to the West Indies at his residence floor in Mumbai.

In a video posted on Twitter, Tendulkar mentioned that he’ll all the time be pleased about such a beautiful present (a metal drum) and thanked the Windies facet for love and respect.

Replying to that video, Yuvraj mentioned the ‘iconic day’ won’t ever be forgotten and hailed Tendulkar as the best participant of all time.

“This iconic day will never be forgotten ! U might have retired on the field but u will never retire from our hearts Heart suit the greatest of all time master blaster,” Yuvraj tweeted whereas replying to Tendulkar.

In his final Test, Tendulkar scored 74 runs. He was despatched again to the pavilion by spinner Narsingh Deonarine who had him caught by the hands of Daren Sammy.

After the match, Tendulkar gave a speech on the Wankhede which made cricketing followers everywhere in the globe slightly teary-eyed.

At the age of 37, Tendulkar performed his remaining World Cup. The Men in Blue defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets at residence within the finals of the 2011 version. This made Tendulkar a member of the World Cup-winning staff for the primary time.

He was India’s main run-scorer and second general within the match. He had retired from the 50-over format in 2012.
