NEW DELHI: Congress normal secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday lashed out on the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP authorities in Uttar Pradesh over rising inflation and vegetable costs through the festive season.

The Congress chief took to Twitter and made a blistering assault on the BJP authorities for failing to test the skyrocketing inflation and costs of important commodities, together with greens, through the festive season.

This same paddy was procured at upto Rs 3,500 under Congress government. Under the pretext of moisture (in produce) the farmers are being exploited. This is probably the first time that paddy is being sold cheaper than wheat,” Vadra, within the tweet roughly translated in English from Hindi, mentioned.
