New Delhi: Not many would know that actor Sumeet Raghvan, identified for the present ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, performed an important function in BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat’. The iconic present has returned to TV many years later and is breaking a number of information like ‘Ramayan’. Sumeet starrred as a younger Sudama within the present. Meanwhile, of his function as Sudama in ‘Mahabharat’, Sumeet mentioned that he was signed for the present when he was very younger and joked it was as a result of he was skinny. But he by no means realised the present would create historical past.

“I was very young when I bagged the role, and I was as excited as any new kid on the block. I was quite skinny at the time, probably that’s why I got the role,” he quipped.

“We had barely shot for 3 to 4 days and I remember shooting the Sandipani Ashram portions in Film City and the rain dance sequence at Chena creek. Back then, I did not realise that I was going to be a part of history,” Sumit, a famend face in TV and Marathi industries, added.

‘Mahabharat’ featured Mukesh Khanna as Bhishma, Pankaj Dheer as Karna, Gajendra Chouhan as Yudhishthir, Arjun as Arjun, Roopa Ganguly as Draupadi, Puneet Issar as Duryodhan and Nitish Bharadwaj as Krishna.
