Russian Sukhoi Su-35 intercepts US P-8A warplane over Mediterranean Sea, flies just 25 feet apart: Watch


A Russian Sukhoi Su-35 intercepted a United States of America Navy Sixth Fleet’s P-8A Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft twice in about 100 minutes over the impartial waters of the Mediterranean Sea on April 19, 2020. While Russia claims the US P-8A aircraft was transferring in the direction of its navy bases, the American Navy countered it by accusing the Sukhoi-Su35 pilot of flying in an unsafe and unprofessional method in the course of the intercept.

On April 15, 2020, too, a Russian Su-35 had intercepted and flew inverted of a US P-8A in the identical space. According to the US Navy, the Russian aircraft had on that event too had come inside 25 ft of the P-8A.
