PM Narendra Modi arrives in Gujarat, pays tribute to Keshubhai Patel

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat on Friday on a two-day go to throughout which he’s scheduled to launch a number of initiatives, together with a seaplane service between Kevadiya and Ahmedabad, and go to the Statue of Unity.

Upon his arrival on the Ahmedabad airport, he was welcomed by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Governor Acharya Devvrat. This is the PM’s first go to to his residence state after the coronavirus outbreak.

From the airport, PM Modi left for Gandhinagar to fulfill the grieving household of former Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP stalwart Keshubhai Patel, who died on Thursday. The PM met the relations of the late Gujarat Chief Minister, Keshubhai Patel and supplied his condolences.

He then went to fulfill the members of the family of Gujarati cinema celebrity Naresh Kanodia and his music composer-brother Mahesh Kanodia, each of whom died just lately.

Naresh and Mahesh Kanodia have been related to the BJP and elected as MLA and MP, respectively, prior to now. Mahesh Kanodia was a musician and former BJP MP from Gujarat, whereas Naresh Kanodia was an actor.

It can also be anticipated that the PM would meet his nonagenarian mom Hiraba, who lives on the outskirts of Gandhinagar metropolis with Modis youthful brother Pankaj Modi.

The PM would then attain Kevadiya in Narmada district to inaugurate numerous tourism initiatives close to the Statue of Unity, a monument devoted to Sardar Patel.

On Saturday, he would inaugurate a seaplane service connecting Kevadiya with Ahmedabad.
