Monsoon movement may get slow this week as low pressure weakens, predicts IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated on Sunday (June 14) that monsoon has coated a big a part of west and central India however its progress is predicted to get slower this week as low strain weakens.

IMD Director-General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra predicted that the progress can be gradual for every week after that.

“The low pressure area that helped in the progress of monsoon last week is weakening. So, the progress of the monsoon will be slow for a week,” Mohapatra added.
