Kriti Sanon to play Sita opposite Prabhas’ Ram in Adipurush, shoot to begin in January

Kriti Sanon has bagged a significant position reverse Prabhas within the upcoming movie, Adipurush. The Bareilly Ki Barfi actor has now been confirmed for the position of Sita within the huge banner movie.

While Prabhas performs the protagonist Ram, Saif Ali Khan has been signed for the position of the antagonist, Lankesh. Speculations had been ripe that names corresponding to Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani and Keerthy Suresh had been being thought of for the position of Sita earlier than Kriti was finalised for the half.

A report in Mumbai Mirror has quoted a supply as saying, “She (Kriti) will play the character with grace and dignity. Playing Sita is an opportunity of a lifetime for her, and she immediately came on board. She will be juggling multiple films in the first quarter of 2021.”

 

Adipurush will reportedly be shot from January 2021 in a single lengthy schedule. Talking about capturing the movie in 3D, the supply stated, “It will mostly be shot in the studio against a chroma screen. Om and Bhushan have been talking to VFX technicians of international repute, who have worked on films like Avatar and Star Wars, to make the shooting process smooth and mount the film on a certain scale.”

Adipurush will hit the theatres within the nation on August 11, 2022. Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the multilingual interval saga is an onscreen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is being touted as a movie celebrating “the victory of good over evil”.
