Johnny Depp on George Floyd’s killing: ‘No way to make sense of what is senseless’
Hollywood famous person Johnny Depp has spoken out towards the custodial dying of George Floyd within the US, terming his killing as “grotesque” and “senseless”.
Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American man, died on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota after a white police officer knelt on his neck for practically 9 minutes in an encounter caught on video. The officer, Derek Chauvin has been charged with homicide and manslaughter. Three different officers who had been current with him had been additionally charged.
The 56-year-old actor took to social media to share a speech by his good friend, rapper-activist Killer Mike about racism.
