Chennai: The Indian Coast Guard launched a 98-meter Offshore Patrol vessel ‘Vigraha’ at a non-public shipyard in Kattupalli, north of Chennai, within the presence of Dr TV Somanathan, IAS, Secretary (Expenditure), Ministry of Finance. As part of an enlargement, modernization drive, Coast Guard is planning to spice up belongings to 200 vessels and 100 plane by 2025.
