New Delhi: With Diwali celebrations only a day away, many can be considering if petrol pumps will stay open or closed on Saturday (November 14).

Although, most petrol pumps shall be open on Diwali, some pumps would possibly observe a selected timing. Moreover, pumps which can be open across the clock is not going to see any service disruption.

It could also be famous that in 2017, a couple of pump house owners had proposed to maintain the petrol pumps closed on Sundays.

However, this was not seen as a positive transfer. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas had tweeted saying, “Major dealers’ federations have clarified that they don’t endorse any closure of petrol pumps on any day”.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas had stated that the federal government neither endorses nor approves of transfer by small part of sellers to maintain their petrol pumps closed on Sundays.

Meanwhile, petrol and diesel costs remained unchanged on Thursday, as state-run oil advertising corporations held the gas costs regular.
