Death toll in Maharashtra’s Bhiwandi building collapse incident rises to 10; PM Narendra Modi expresses grief
Bhiwandi: In a tragic incident in Maharashtra’s Bhiwandi a three-storey constructing collapsed on Monday (September 21) taking away lifetime of a minimum of 10 folks and several other have been feared trapped, stated Thane Municipal Corporation PRO.
According to the knowledge, the constructing was in a dilapidated situation. The incident happened at 3.45 am when folks have been quick asleep. The NDRF group was instantly rushed to the spot.

The NDRF group rescued a baby who was caught underneath the particles on the website of constructing collapse in Bhiwandi. As per preliminary data, the locals have rescued 20 folks and round 25 persons are feared trapped.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the incident. Taking to Twitter he stated, ”Saddened by the constructing collapse in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. Condolences to the bereaved households. Praying for a fast restoration of these injured. Rescue operations are underway and all attainable help is being offered to the affected.”

Expressing disappointment over the incident, Home Minister Amit Shah stated, ”Anguished to study in regards to the tragic collapse of a constructing in Bhiwandi, Thane (Maharashtra). NDRF is already on the bottom and is helping with the rescue operations. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved households, praying for the speedy restoration of these injured.”
