At least 9 agricultural labourers, together with seven ladies, died of electrocution and one other 5 individuals had been injured after the tractor by which they had been travelling rammed an electrical pole in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district Thursday night, police stated.
The incident occurred at Raparla village of Naguluppalapadu block, when the victims had been returning to their village Machavaram after harvesting chilli in agricultural fields a couple of kilometres away. Around 15 individuals had been travelling the within the tractor.
