Wrestlers Sangeeta Phogat, Bajrang Punia tie the knot; pics inside

Wrestlers Sangeeta Phogat and Bajrang Punia tied the knot on Thursday. The duo had introduced their determination to marry again in 2019.

The pre-wedding festivities had begun for Phogat and Punia on November 22 with the ‘baan’ ritual. The marriage ceremony celebrations started within the Phogat household with shaadi ki pehli rasam–baan ritual. ‘Baan’ marks the start of the primary ritual in a marriage, by which girls or elders apply haldi ubtan on the bride-to-be.

Her mehendi ceremony occurred on November 24, and the bride-to-be posted her henna-clad fingers footage on Instagram. She had shared footage of the ceremonies on Instagram.

Sangeeta Phogat and Bajrang Punia tied the knot in Balali village within the presence of their households.
