Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Wednesday mentioned that the state authorities has not but determined to re-open colleges, including that the Education Department would give a report back to the Chief Minister inside 5 days to take a remaining name on this regard.
“Today, we had a discussion with the officials and gathered information on opening of the schools…Our department has not taken any decision yet,” the minister instructed reporters after a gathering with the officers and office-bearers of lecturers’ associations.
It is learnt that extra conferences can be held by Education Department within the coming days with the officers of the social welfare division, Bengaluru civic company, well being division and representatives of faculty improvement and monitoring committees. According to Kumar, the division would compile the views of assorted stakeholders and submit a report back to the chief minister.
“After collecting all the information, we will submit a report to the Chief Minister. We will explain to him the entire situation and then we will announce our future course of action,” the Minister mentioned.
