Sudarsan Pattnaik’s touching tribute to legendary choreographer Saroj Khan will make you teary-eyed!

New Delhi: Bollywood’s legendary choreographer Saroj Khan left this world on July 3, 2020 (Friday) within the wee hours of two am. She was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai since June 20 after she complained of chest ache. Saroj Khan, 71, suffered a cardiac arrest. 

Her demise was mourned by one and varied. From colleagues within the movie fraternity, political leaders to followers – everybody condoled the loss of life of Masterji, as she was fondly known as. 

Noted sand artist from Bhubaneswar, Sudarsan Pattnaik paid a touching sand artwork tribute to Masterji. He wrote: Saddened to listen to the demise of legendary choreographer, #SarojKhan. Deepest condolences to her household & buddies. My SandArt at Puri seaside in Odisha. #RIPSarojKhan

The 71-year-old’s burial came about in Malad cemetery on Friday morning. She is survived by daughter Sukaina Khan and son Raju Khan. 

Her title is synonymous with good choreography and chartbuster songs within the Hindi film trade. In reality, it was for her nice abilities that Filmfare truly launched the ‘Best Choreography’ class in awards and he or she received the primary one for ‘Tezaab’.

Her on-screen and off-screen bonding with Madhuri Dixit resulted in among the iconic dance strikes. Incidentally, her final movie ‘Kalank’ (2019) was with Madhuri for the tune ‘Tabaah Ho Gaye’.
