Raj mayoral polls: Cong wins in 4 corporations, BJP wins 2
The ruling Congress on Tuesday received the mayoral polls in 4 firms of Rajasthan, whereas the BJP received the seat in two firms. Elected ward councilors on Tuesday voted to elect the mayors of six municipal firms of three cities, together with Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota.

In Jodhpur South company, BJP’s Vanita Seth turned the mayor after defeating Pooja Pareek of Congress. Manju Mehra of Congress received the mayoral election in Kota North Municipal Corporation defeating Santosh Bairwa of BJP. In Kota South Municipal Corporation, Rajiv Agarwal of Congress received by defeated BJP’s Vivek Rajvanshi.
Elections have been lately held for a complete of 560 wards within the newly fashioned cities Jaipur Heritage, Jaipur Greater, Jaipur North, Jodhpur North, Jodhpur South, Kota North and Kota South. The Congress acquired a transparent majority in Jodhpur North and Kota North municipal firms, whereas the BJP acquired the lead in Jaipur Greater and Jodhpur South municipal firms.
The polls to elect deputy mayors of those municipal firms can be held on November 11.
