PDP’s protest against new J&K land laws foiled, several detained

SRINAGAR: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led by former J&Ok chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday staged a protest in opposition to the Centre’s transfer to amend the erstwhile land acquisition legal guidelines of the previous state.

According to studies, the PDP had organised a protest rally from their social gathering headquarters to the Press Enclave in opposition to the amendments in land legal guidelines of the erstwhile state of J&Ok. However, the J&Ok police foiled the protest march of PDP staff and didn’t permit them to maneuver outdoors. Several PDP leaders and staff detained by the police.
