Nitish Kumar won because of PM Modi, LJP’s Chirag Paswan fires another salvo at Bihar CM
Lok Janshakti Party president Chirag Paswan on Wednesday (November 11) congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for National Democratic Alliance’s win in Bihar Assembly election 2020 and stated that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar received solely due to PM Modi. Chirag stated that the voters in Bihar have expressed their religion in PM Modi and it’s needed that BJP will get stronger in Bihar in an effort to usher in improvement within the state.
Addressing a press convention, Chirag Paswan stated that the LJP gave a tricky battle in tough circumstances. “We don’t have much to lose but the possibilities were infinite. In 2025 elections, we will do good as we have prepared the ground in this election. We performed well on majority of the seats.”
Talking about LJP’s efficiency in Bihar Assembly election, Chirag stated, “We tried our level best. I got only 10 days to prepare post my father’s death. Happy that Bihar gave love to LJP, around 25 Lakh voters trusted ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’ & we secured 6% votes while contesting alone. We were called ‘pichhlaggu party’ that can do something only with other’s support. We showed courage.”
An fringe of seat contest unfolded on Tuesday evening in Bihar because the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured a majority within the 243-member meeting and the RJD-led opposition alliance giving it a tricky competitors. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has received 74 seats, whereas the Janata Dal (United) has received 43 seats.
Of the 243 seats, 125 have gone in favour of the ruling coalition headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and 110 to rival Grand Alliance. The RJD emerged because the single-largest occasion within the House with 75 seats.The LJP received just one seat.
Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM was the shock winner as his occasion clinched 5 seats within the Seemanchal area having a big Muslim inhabitants. Its Grand Democratic Secular Front (GDSF) ally, the BSP, has pocketed one seat.

An Independent candidate additionally received. The CPI and CPI (Marxist) received two seats every, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) 12 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) 4, Congress 19, and Vikassheel Insaan Party 4. Other events have received the remaining 2 seats.
