As per the association, Lufthansa and Air India will function 10 and 7 flights, respectively, per week, stated Puri taking to micro-blogging web site Twitter.
Lufthansa will function from Delhi (four days), Mumbai (three days) and Bengaluru (three days). Air India will function 5 weekly flights from Delhi and a pair of each week from Bengaluru to Frankfurt, stated Puri in a tweet.
“Flights between India & Germany recommence under air bubble arrangement. Lufthansa will operate from Delhi (4 days), Mumbai (3 days) & Bengaluru (3 days). Air India will operate 5 weekly flights from Delhi & 2 every week from Bengaluru to Frankfurt,” he tweeted.
The German provider had on September 29 introduced suspension of all its “planned flights” between India and Germany until October 20, citing “unexpected rejection” of its flight schedule by the Indian authorities. While saying the cancellation of its air providers from September 30, Lufthansa had stated it had utilized for continuation of particular flights it was allowed to function till the tip of September.
Aviation security regulator DGCA, nevertheless, stated, “As against Indian carriers operating 3-4 flights a week, Lufthansa operated 20 flights a week.
