Former Karnataka chief minister and senior Congress chief Siddaramaiah on Tuesday (August 4) mentioned that he has examined positive for coronavirus COVID-19 and has been admitted to the hospital. 

Siddaramaiah tweeted that he has been admitted to the hospital on the recommendation of docs as a precautionary measure. The former Karnataka CM has urged everybody who had are available contact with me to take a look at for signs and quarantine themselves.

Earlier, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had examined positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to hospital as a precautionary measure.

“I have tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of doctors. I request those who have come in contact with me recently to be observant and exercise self quarantine,” Yediyurappa had tweeted.

On Monday, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had gone into self-isolation after two members of his household examined positive for coronavirus COVID-19.
